SPACE AGE BACHELOR PAD MUSIC

This site has great mix tapes that play virtually all the best music you have not yet discovered. There is something about watching the tape turn that makes the music more enjoyable. (The last time I used my tape deck it munched about 30 seconds of my now morbidly curious Phil Spector Christmas album—Splicing that tape was also trickier than I recalled.) The vintage tape colors and graphics are eye candy with tunes that are ear candy making for the perfect late night surfing soundtrack, now go itch your virtual tapedeck scratch.

The Wooden Birds

I bought this LP and was happy with all the tracks! The lyrics are magic and tease you into a bigger story of your own creation. The music compliments the lyrics with a gentle acoustic and electric vibrato touch. I think the acoustic guitar is also doing double duty as a drum, not sure? The artwork seems a perfect match for the music with it’s simple lines and earthy colors. You get a free download version of the tunes also but this one needs the needle for the crackle n pop and sonic joy will be yours.
